What is the difference between 20°C and 90°C PVA yarn?

The labels describe different intended dissolution conditions, but they do not guarantee identical behavior in every process. Polymer formulation, yarn structure, time, agitation, bath ratio and finishing chemistry all influence the observed result.
Low-temperature grades
These are selected when downstream materials cannot tolerate a hot removal bath, but storage and wet-processing controls may be more demanding.
High-temperature grades
These can offer greater resistance during cooler wet processes and are removed in a defined hotter cycle.
